    As an MBA candidate, you should check your school's schedule for the established application deadline. As a first step, you will be asked to complete a supplemental application form to help us learn about you and your interest in the position.

    You will also need to provide your resume and a short 5-minute video cover letter (instructions provided on the page).

    Fit interview
    The fit interview lasts about 45 minutes and gives you an opportunity to tell your story and showcase your fit with Samsung and GSG. You should articulate the reasons why you want to join Samsung and highlight relevant industry or functional experiences that make you a strong candidate for the position. The interviewer will ask questions related to your professional and educational background, including education, work experience, and area of interest or position.

    You are encouraged to share stories in the interview that build on core characteristics that we are looking for.

    Tips for Fit Interview

    What are we looking for?
    1. How would you define yourself and what drives you?
    2. How would Samsung and Korea fit within your personal and professional ambitions?
    3. A strong understanding of Samsung, GSG, and the affiliate in which you are interested

    Tips for the Interview
    1. Be prepared to give a one-to-two-minute version of what you have done and accomplished over the last few years, highlighting your educational, professional, and extracurricular accomplishments.
    2. Be prepared to share your professional experiences to showcase how you’ve displayed Samsung’s core characteristics.
    3. Please also include how these experiences have positioned you to thrive in a new and different environment.

    Case Interview
    The case interview is a 45 minute session that is similar to what you would experience during a management consulting interview. You will have 30 minutes to articulate how you would approach a business challenge given to you, including providing specific, executable recommendations. This part of the interview will test your analytical, quantitative, and communication skills. The last 10 minutes of the interview will be used to further explore your fit with Samsung and GSG.

    Tips for Case Study interviews

    What are we looking for?
    1. What is your overall (MECE) approach/structure you take to evaluate the problem and generate solutions?
    2. Are you able to analyze provided data?
    3. Can you synthesize insights and offer recommendations?

    Tips for the Interview
    1. The cases will vary widely in terms of industry, function, and region but typically encompasses a business challenge that Samsung has faced or is currently facing.
    2. Make sure to clearly communicate your thought process throughout the interview.
    3. Make sure to outline an action plan at the end of the interview to help us understand how you would prioritize efforts to address the problem.

    Hybrid Interview
    The hybrid interview is 45 minutes, of which 15 minutes will be dedicated for a further ‘fit’ assessment and 30 minutes for a mini-case. Overall, we are taking a deep-dive into your interpersonal and adaptability skills, analytical rigor, and business judgement.

    Tips for Presentation Interview

    What are we looking for?
    1. Openness, adaptability, and ability to work in dynamic teams
    2. Clear business judgement and logical thinking.

    Tips for the Interview
    1. No previous knowledge of topics is tested in this interview. All the information you’ll need to make decisions will be provided.
    2. Clearly communicate your line of analysis and reasoning, throughout the interview.

    The offers will be given to candidates 2-3 weeks post-interview, depending on the schedule. The date is subject to change, and GSG cannot guarantee any early offers but will try to accommodate when necessary.
